The terms of the work.

The audit
The audit is $249, paid before the session. You tell us which pieces matter. We prepare around that, then walk the home or business with you.
You leave with a written plan you keep, whether or not you go ahead. It covers:
- Which of your current devices and apps can be put to work
- The automations that would save you the most time
- A fixed quote with hardware, setup and running costs itemised
- Any security gaps we spot
If you proceed with a dedicated setup, the $249 is credited in full against that work. If you do not proceed, you still keep the plan. There is no obligation to continue.
Dedicated setup
A full installation for a Melbourne household or small business that already has phones, a PC and a collection of apps, and wants backup, remote access, lights, mail and calendar to work as one system.
Our setup and configuration service is $3,000. A typical start, including hardware you may not already own, is around $5,000. The exact quote follows the audit and is right-sized to what you actually need.
- A home or business hub with encrypted cloud backup
- One primary voice platform: Siri, Alexa or Google Home
- A secure network, and the apps and devices you already use, integrated
- Programming you can manage and extend, plus a hands-on training session
Hardware is quoted separately because it depends on what you already own. Indicative ranges: cloud services for office, AI and security from about $35 a month; smart speakers from about $200; a NAS hub $800 to $1,500 once. Ongoing cloud and subscriptions are typically about $35 a month, paid by you to those providers, not to us.
Classes and coaching
A lighter path for people who want the principles and hands-on guidance without a full installation. Current class options and pricing are given on request. Email team@smartaihome.com.au.
What you keep
The hardware, accounts and subscriptions are yours. We set them up, show you how they work by doing, and hand over the keys. This is not a course and not a lock-in plan. You should be able to run the system after handover.
After handover
Ongoing support is optional. Break/fix assistance and backup recovery are available for a fee when you need them. There is no mandatory monthly plan.
Payment
The audit is paid by card through Stripe. Stripe emails the tax invoice. We do not see or store your card details. A dedicated setup is invoiced from the quote you accept after the audit.
